Leupold VX-R - any first handreviews yet?

I've got the 3-9x40 CDS version on my Ruger Alaskan. I put the glass on par with my VXIII 2.5-8 I have.It's a little heavy/larger compared to my 2.5-8, but I will buy another one for my 7mm when I have the extra cash. I haven't hunted with it much this year, but I'm pretty happy with my decision so far. I don't think you would be disappointed.
 
Do a search on this,I started a thread a while ago.To answer your Question very happy with mine.Better glass than a vx-3,vx111,in my eyes.Check them out...
