Marauder vs Arch Angel?

I've decided on building my 10/22 into my ideal rifle and looks like I'm going to go with an Arch Angel kit (except for that aweful bayonet thing)

Anywho, why did you guys choose the marauder over the angel? I personally like the adjustable stock and the picatinny rails on the angel. Is it weight, looks, etc? What made you pick your kit from all the available options out there?

The reason I went with the Marauder kit over the Archangel is simply the look of the thing. I personally didn't want to go tactically crazy with lights, lazes, and rails all over the place, and the Marauder fit the bill for me. I have also always liked the look of the G36 over an AR platform. Go with whatever strikes your fancy as it's your gun and whatever makes you want to shoot it more is what you should go with!

I already have a AR(5.56) and wanted something different in a non restricted 22 cal

Earlier I replaced the stock on my m-305 with the Archangel M-14 kit and was impressed with the quality of it. I really like the look of the Marauder and read the stock was a good replacement for the 10-22 ,

Its the reason I recently bought a 10-22...lol
 
Some like Mustangs. Others Camaros. Pick whichever gives you a warm fuzzy. Either kits is very well made and will give you tons of fun.

The big advantage to the Marauder kit is the AR mag adaptor that really keeps the look full scale.

Promag may just redo the Archangel to fit this mag in the coming year????

my buddy bought from mystic and has nothing but good things to say about him which ever u pick check his shop out
 
I have both kits and love the Archangel, after a few changes, more specifically the 12.5 dlask barrel. I love how short and adjustable it is. It points and shoots very well. The Maurader looks great, and the fit and finish is good, mag looks phenominal, but I just don't like it quite as much as my original Archangel, probably due to the barrel length.
 
Quick question for those with the Marauder kit,

Was anything else required other than a 10/22 and the Maruader kit?
 
If you cant decide buy both!

I was all over the arch angel kit first then i saw the Marauder and just about had kittens. I like the look mostly of the Marauder and the fact i will probably never own a G36 so why not have a plinker that looks like one lol.
 
Even in Vancouver the stores will sell out mostly people who want the Black stock ones like mine. I never knew i would kit mine out so i would probably get a wood stock AKA cheaper if i modded out an arch angel kit.
 
Put together my Marauder kit from Dave of Hical yesterday. Pretty neat looking kit, and Dave was excellent to deal with. He had my kit to Fedex the same day I paid him, and it was at my door the next day!
