Looks like Magpul Dynamics has an opening to fill...

TDC may be somewhat forceful with his opinions but a lot of stuff he says does make sense.

My own philosophy is one should learn from a number of teachers and sources and discover what works for them. Always keep an open mind for new techniques or new perspectives on things.

interesting...first Haley now Costa, wonder what's going on at MagPul? It's like Gotham City losing both Batman and Robin.
It will be hard for Magpul to replace that duo. Despite what some may think of their training methods and philosophies, they were great in the marketing department.

I'm wondering the same thing...

They may end up just making parts from now on? Could be worse, leave the training to the trainers, and the manufacturing to the manufacturers? Could go well. This Costa fellow seems to have a bright future in training and I hope he does well spreading the knowledge on his own, or in partnership with other instructors. I dont see anything bad coming from it.

Haley was bought out and released.

Chris left when Magpul was bought and saw the future (hes been told by LAV and many others that he should have left long before this).

Chris has a solid following and clearly it was a case that with Magpul being sold, that his future was going to be better served elsewhere -- the last of the DVD's had been filmed, and in teaching classes its clear the that teacher is best served on his own.

Interesting. Is Magpul headed in a less than desirable direction?

Richard Fitzpatrick is still President -- I think Magpul is on good ground, I just think the potential for growth of some of their people has been slowed by the buyout.

I bought Haley's new DVD months ago, and really enjoyed it, a good refresher for sure.
Costa will do better in other places, sometimes it is good to move on, mind you they really did a lot for Magpul and there brand recognition. Speaking of which what happened to there new DVD "ART OF THE PRECISION RIFLE"?????? THEY SAY IT IS TO BE RELEASED THIS WINTER It's taken a while.

I just tried ordering it and it says:

EXPORT NOTICE: This training video is subject to the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C. 7728) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR, 22 CFR Parts 120-130). A prior authorization or license from the U.S. State Department Directorate of Defense Trade Controls is required for the export, re-export or re-transfer of this training video to any foreign person whether in the United States or abroad.

Any ideas how to get it then?
