Just wondering what an Older winchester model 70 factory Carbine in 270win would sell for. Rifle is in VG cond(wood is almost pefect w/ one small scratch blueing solid 95percent+) Thanks in advance for the replys guys

20" carbine, not the 22" lightweight right?

I'd say marcoman is very close, I always liked the 20" carbine with rifle sights. I had the 22" M70 lightweight as well, and still have the 22" featherweight.

Got to love the smo-o-o-o-o-thness of the M70 Push Feeds.

Nice Rifle. Lovely hardwood stalker.

I tried to get a member to trade his but he wanted cash only,.... it was back in march and I believe it was listed for 495.00. Worth every penny.

The gun you describe was my Son's first rifle and was a complete POS.

I spent more time trying to develop a load that would shoot 1.5 inch groups than almost all my other rifles put together, finally gave up, sold it, bought him a Tikka Whitetail that took about 5 minutes to build a load.

I sold Brendan's for $450 bucks about 7 years ago, wouldn't pay $50 for one today.

A pre 64 carbiine 20" barrel would be worth about $2000-$5000
