Hello to everyone here, I'm new to this site and so far I'm pretty impressed with all the information posted and shared by other members. As for myself, I'm a 45 year old male who works in the security/transport sector and enjoys target shooting with .22 rifles. I'm soon to obtain a new S&W M&P 15-22, I'd appreciate any good ideas as for accessories.

Thanks everyone,
happy trails and good shooting.:ar15:

Come out to a cowboy shoot and you will be hooked and getting all those goodies too.

As for accessories for gun?

1) a couple drum magazines from Questar. (since the factory ones can only be 10, you'll want the nifty drums which are 50 or more).
2) Depending on the model you are getting, you may want an adjustable stock.
3) A nice optic (either a scope or a nice red dot). A burris XTR is good or a fast fire.
4) If you are getting the one with the railed forend, then perhaps a folding grip and a bi pod.
5) If you getting the one without the railed forend, get the rails.
6) If you are carrying/hunting with it, perhaps a 2 or 3 point sling.
7) The 10 round mags, should be as plentiful as air, so it wouldn't hurt to grab up as many pinned ones of these as you can. And as many drums as you can afford.
8) Good ammo. Every round you shoot wears your barrel, that's physics, so if you are going to wear it out, might as well use the best ammo you can.
