O.K. This needs clarification on your side. I've run well over 300 rounds through my AR and have not noticed any problems. Is this a MIL spec thing because I don't see what you mean.

Some surplus ammo has a very thin copper coating or has steel in the copper jacket as a result barrel wear is significantly accelerated. The batches of PMC greentip some of us went through were just fine.

I have some other AE Tactical .223....i'll save this for the very finest zombies. lol

I bought both the AE tactical 55gr and the X-tac ss109.
The AE is more accurate in my gun, but the X-tac is noticably more powerful.
The X-tac cases seem to be of very high quality for reloading, annealed necks should make your brass last quite a while.
Very much mil-spec m855/ss109 and thats the good stuff for ARs and other properly chambered .223s
