Doesn't bottlenecked pistol have the same issue as bottlenecked rifle over time...?

As for reloading 9mm, I'm brand new at it and still learning a lot and the prices I've seen so far dealing with Budget Shooter Supply

Berry 9MM (.356) 124gr RN BULLET 1000/BX $96.00
CCI PRIMER 500 SMALL PISTOL 1000/box $34.00
Alliant UNIQUE 1LB POWDER $26.00

which works out to about 15.6 cents a round based on your own brass (been picking it up at the range by the handful every time I go as there are a bunch of people who don't care to keep it.

Yes, but there are very few bottleneck cartridges designed for handguns. .357 Sig comes to mind, .22 Remington Jet, .400 Corbon - not common calibres, even the .357 isn't exactly jumping off the shelves in the civilian (reloading) world.

I just know with all the cheap Tokarev chambered in 7.62x25mm out there and I've seen at least one FN Five-seveN which is 5.7×28mm at the range that we don't want to just call bottlenecks for rifles.

you can cast your own 125gr RN's with a multi cavity mould and bring the bullet cost wayyy down or order in 5000 to 10,000 pieces and alot of suppliers will take between 5% and 10% off... i piggyback special orders for myself on a certain shops regular orders to a supplier so there not stuck with something they cant sell and i pre pay so no risk to them.

never pay retail, always buy as much as you can afford and then some, try new approaches when the resale value of something is close to the purchase price...
 
Interesting. I haven't had a problem with either of those things on the Hornady. Might have to spring for a Mr Bulletfeeder for the new 1050 though just to compare ;)
