Value of Mosin Nagant m59??

I have just bought a mosin nagant m59 model , matching numbers ,shiny bore, and nice light blonde wood stock.

How much is it worth??

If you want an accurate idea of what the rifle is worth, then please post some pictures and/or give us a lot more information in your description.

Dunhams in Michigan was offering m91/30 Moisn Nagants along with m91/59 Mosin Nagants for the same price----$79.95 a while ago.

The m91/59 is believed to be a version cut down from m91/30 long rifles. Bulgaria was suspected of doing this, but some later postings are leaning toward Yugoslavia.

In Canada, $150-300 depending on condition & who wants it.

I sold one with a sporter stock and the original stock for 160. It's just a cut down 91/30.

The graduations on the rear sight off milled off on the 91/59. The M38 was always a carbine. The 91/59 is cut down from a 91/30.
