RONI Glock Carbine conversion kits - Good news!

I'm pretty sure they won't advertise what they have as armament! ;)

There's obviously a few agencies in Israel (police & military) that use them. Also there is some american agencies that thinks the Roni is perfect for officers in plain clothes (undercover) covering the Washington DC area. Having the Roni packed up in a 5.11 Select Carry Sling Pack, the people walking like normal civilians are actually ready for rapid response in case of active shooter situation or terrorist attack. M4/AR variants in 10.5" being a little too bulky for conceal-carry...

There's also Law Enforcement Officers in need of a primary weapon, but cannot because their police department don't want to pay for an assault rifle for every officer. So, these officers can turn into a Roni G1 and have an alternative in case of an active shooter or bank robbery, etc. Plus, this Roni kit can easily be transported into their patrol bag in the car.

Also some SWAT units that their recon/scout guy don't need a big assault rifle and their budget cannot buy him something like a B&T MP9 or H&K MP7... So the Roni is a good alternative.
From what I've seen, there's also some canadian agencies that uses them for active shooter response and security of some High-Value Target's perimeter! ;)

P.S.: Oh, and I personnally know some police officers that owns the Roni, because it fits their duty weapon and their department don't have the budget to give them AR-15s because they are only dedicated to Tactical Units.
So their Roni is there in their patrol bag, ready 4 action. If Sh*t Hits the Fan, they'll drop their Glock 17, Springfield XD and Sig P226 in there in 5 seconds, ready to engage threats to 50-100 meters! ;)
This is where I've first heard about the Roni! :p

Exactly! ;)

You're right but the international community found out other applications to it too! ;)

Your posts on this topic are full of fail.

1- Did you know that the equipment that LEOs use in Canada is publicly owned and therefore not "secret'' as you say? You can get a list of what a service uses, yes even the AR's and MP5's they have.
2-This thing may be a fun range toy and used to circumvent dumb long gun laws in certain countries, ie: Israel, but it is FAR inferior to an AR in an "active shooter" engagement. I would take a shotgun with 00 over it..
3- If this LEO friend of yours actually uses his toy that he brought from home, he would likely be facing reprimand for using non approved equipment. A civil case would be open and shut against him. You think LEO's go down to WSS and buy what ever ammo they want for duty? Come on.

You advertisement pictures are nice. :)

Don't want to argue too long to derail this thread but what I can tell you, not all weaponry list are available for the general public my friend...

Most Intervention Groups from my province keep their weaponry list secret from general public for safety reasons!

This close this subject for my part...

Oh and thanks for the pictures comments.

I shot this Roni set up at the range last night and must say I was impressed.
Was a little sceptical at first but with a red dot on it the thing was incredibly accurate. Neat little setup.

Just remember guys: you get what you pay for... Personally, I wouldn't consider the lingering safety concerns in the back of my mind to be worth the few bucks saved. These things aren't designed for the heat and stress tolerances of real firearms. Safe shooting!

Yo dem kits be strait up wack. Da glock already be strait up tite and adding dis cheapass plastic aint gonna make it betta. Why yall wanna make da best gun bigger and look like ass

While this thread is a great deal-spot thread, I would just kill to know what "agencies" issue a Roni kit.

Considering it's been fairly easy to find out what guns are in use by CAG and DEVGRU and so on, I really have a hard time believing an outfit bush league enough to issue CAA is so tight that we can't know they use Glocks in plastic shrouds.

I can see the fun in these...but let's not get carried away about nuclear ninjas using these things to kill dragon force here.

TRANSLATION: Hello all. The Roni kits you are refering to are not sensible. The Glock handgun is a superlative example of a firearm, the addition of a composite housing adds nothing to it's practical use. Why would an individual choose to detract from an elegant design, and make the firearm larger?

Answer: Chicks dig it.

Gecko45, is that you?

Edit: Did someone beat me to it?

Glenzo can attest. I have the proof boys. This RONI is the real deal. If it isn't I can't imagine what they would do to make it more "real" than teh EMA tactical kit I have set up right now.

I have company over and can't (unfortunately) get intoa long post with the pics of the targets, but I will try to get them posted soon. Same with the "Assembly" tutorial. You guys probably don't need that but I still intend to do one.
