RONI Glock Carbine conversion kits - Good news!

Best post all year. A buck twenty five. And it's the same crap, so-called "air-soft." Sorry, but the RONI is crap but hey, I'd play for a buck twentyfive...well, maybe... . I'd rather learn to shoot my gd'ed side arm as it should be done without this crap and leave the rest to my rifle. Ronis, real or otherwise are stupid toys.

For a stupid toy, it sure got you wound up into a rant:D

if they offered their real kits for this price i would buy it :)

As the OP indicated.....I'm thinking these are the "real" kits....not airsoft look a likes. Nohooo I would not go to RONI and make them aware if i were you guys, let airsoft buy more at their rate and snach em up!
An instuctional vid would be much appreciated, do we have to buy a slide extension or anything to initiate the action?

Firstly, I own an original Roni that I purchased from the TSE. I also purchased a chinese knock-off to compare the quality. The copy is nowhere near as good. The clips break easily, and the fit and finish is cheaper. Also, the adjustable stock is iffy at best. The original, on the other hand, is very robust. I sent the copy back, it was so bad.

Is the copy worth $125.00? No. Is the original worth $500.00? No. Are they worth owning at all? No. After you have pimped out the Roni and purchased the Glock, you could have done better buying a decent tactical toy. The truth is your handgun cannot be "both fish and foul". It will always be either one or the other. I still own my Roni, and will play with it occasionally in 3 gun matches, but I wouldn't recommend wasting any money on it.

Where did you buy the copy - source?

How could you return it after finding out that the clips (which one?) break easily?

Looking at the picture, I can't see any difference to the real deal. I think it's the same stuff.

Quite simple really; you take pictures, send them to the supplier and ask for a refund. This was granted.

If you think they are the same, good for you. Pay your money and take your chances.

That's exactly right, Spawn-Inc. The principal issue is that these things are, imo, highly overpriced, and I believe they are exploiting firearms owners by charging these exorbitant prices.

I will state again that I don't believe that these were produced as airsoft kits. I believe they were produced by EMA tactical for real glocks, and they are overstock from the CAA acquisition of the patent.

It goes to show that they can sell them at $125 and turn a profit still, in the airsoft market.
That should tell you something right there.

Anyways, whether anyone agrees or disagrees, the fact is I bought two, and have used one.

Once my new one comes in the mail I will make an assembly pictorial. I expect it here tomorrow. I have a friend in the Oshawa area that got his today, and we ordered at the same time.

I dont know about these being real EMA/CAA or not but if you look at the Fab Defense KPOS and the replica airsoft one the real KPOS is all steel/metal while the "replica" ones is plastic with metal rails. Dont think these are "real" CAA's but I could be wrong.

Maybe it is like magpul and magpul pws. Look the Same on line in pictures to the un trained or hurried eye, but compare the two in your hands and there is no comparison.

I hope for the OPs sake it is legit, hate to see someone get ripped off.

I know mine feels like a gun even with no gun inside it. It is built like a friggin tank!

Please report back, if they are the same I will for sure get one in FDE and OD green!

Just comparing your picture to mine in person

My rear mag holder is different than yours. Other than that they seem pretty much identical

I've just pre-order one for a collegue of mine to fit his duty glock 17. I paid 141$ Tax & shipping included!
I've been told other units will arrive in stock in around 2 to 3 weeks. They will be shipped in 2 days as they arrive!

For those interested, go ahead and order one. Nice price and from what I've seen on the pictures posted, they looks like my original EMA Roni G1...

I'll keep you updated! :p
I'll be able to do some comparisons between the original CAA and this EMA copy/original? when it will arrive!
