I don't have a long enough hex headed screwdriver in order to get the stock A2 grip off to put my magpul one on...so that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Also - I got home and realized that Target Sports never gave me my warranty card or poker chip out of the box!! Dammit! I'll email them tomorrow and NEA.

First impression?? As my first AR I think I am in love!!! :rockOn:

Well, yes they are. The flash makes you see it. :)

What with the rail picture (showing NEA engraving)? Looks like damage?

You paid $45 for a p-mag?

They're the same color, material and batch of anodize. The difference is that the uppers have been blasted differently. The flash is causing it.

That "damage" is the edge of the lightening holes touching the side face.



.. at least you started one of your posts with a positive line. However brief. It's a start I guess.
 
Yea, none of what u guys are picking up is visable at all really when looking at the gun with your eyes in normal light.

One downside to restricted so far: I can't go around showing it off, all my friends have to come to my place to see it. Lol
 
Oh! And what size is the hex bolt that holds the a2grip on? Metric or imperial?

I have to go to crappy tire after work and get a longer hex driver to get it off and install my magpul grip :)

Don't even ask what Jeff and Dave made me do. It's a dark time in my life. I am still working on blocking it out. Lol!

Nah, I just had a few hurtles come up in regards to me even getting one of these. Jeff stepped up and personally made sure I got one sent to a diff dealer. NEA has showed me nothing but stellar customer service, and he's Even mailing me the poker chip I forgot to get out of the box at target sports!

As long as these guys are around they have my support and money
 
Actuallyin retrospect I'm not 100% on that... I think it is actually SAE. Try some in the rail screws, if those are SAE the rest is too.
