Wood... I've got WOOD!!!

Thanks to Woverine team! It looks and feels so nice in person I am almost ready to put it on the shelve for a display! I no longer want an AK, btw Spent good time with this rifle at Silverdale today. About 500 surplus rounds and not a single hiccup. I didn't need to sight it either. I think that this is my favourite gun right now! Great look, accurate, reliable and non-restricted I love the look of it, it's kind of in combined look of AK-47 and STG-44 and it got only best parts from them.

Yeah, I must have been fondling the one ar, they are trigger locked to the grid when un -attended.

Looks really good! I just wish they would re-design that grip. I dont have a CZ, but I will one day. Ill have to swap that out. Looks tiny to me.

Almost all are padlocked to the "cage". It's to piss off thieves if they should happen to disable to alarm, disable the back-up, dodge the cameras, and find the goods- then the work starts. Better be quick, I work 2 mins away!

Next step - armacoating.

It doesn't need armacoat, it looks great. The factory finish is very tough. If it were already beat, I would armacoat, yours looks prestine.

Looks really good! I was contemplating doing the same to mine and painting the beaver barf wood white camo for hunting.

Not really, there is a paint chipped on the barrel. Also, metal part on those wood parts and bipod don't really match the paint. Armacoat black will bring it all together. Yep, I am that OCD

Besides, I've already shipped it to Armacoat

The wood is very nice...very factory...it looks as tho they just took a regular CZ/VZ wood set sanded it and stained it...nothing really special... but I do like the stain they used to darken it up nicely.

I'm planning on buying one of the VZ58 carbines in 5.56 as soon as Wolverine re-opens in January. This wood should fit the 5.56 version too wouldn't it?
