Because its a really expensive fix when you break the back end off. Just cut a couple of 3/4 inch plywood pieces and bolt the press to them and bolt it to your stand. I have my presses bolted to a single piece of 3/4 plywood and then whichever one I want to use I clamp to my desk. When the XL650 is set up and lubed it purrrrrs. I have 2!!
Home depot sells small pieces cheap prevention.

I was Only kidding you know... It's actually being bolted directly to that stand in the picture when I bring my cordless drill home from the shop tommorow.

Just peeking thru the manual tonite and getting a feel for the changeover to 9mm this weekend...

Fellas... It's going to be a loooong winter.... I suggest you start getting ready for spring!
 
A quick trip to P&D in Edmonton yesterday for a few parts and pieces...
