RONI Glock Carbine conversion kits - Good news!

Thanks for the pics and bad news :( I guess I have to find another slide and barrel or buy another Glock if I want to get one of these kits.The way I have been buying firearms lately and the deal that Police ordnance offers it will probably be another Glock ..lol
 
As I can see, you got the same cleaning issue than me...

After shooting more than 25-50 rounds, the front muzzle / slide of the Glock gets covered with a powder residue and some light heat film...

A good powder solvent like Hoppes 9 and some good polymer brush and some elbow's oil :p and you succeed to clean it! :D
 
Are the pics of the Tan CAA model or the airsoft model?

This thread is great, but I seem to be a bit slow in keeping up!!!!

Did the comparison of the real and "fake" Roni happen?

I got mine and the front extends the same way, so all you need is the barrel shroud in order to work for the G34.

To be 100 % honest, it doesn't feel as solid as the real deal.

OK well let us all know when you can shoot 5 inch groups at 50 yards with your Glock, without using the RONI (or equivalent).
 
Also for those who may use a long barrel Glock: When sliding out the front piece, it still remains kind of solid on the real Roni, the fake one wiggles quite a lot, not sure if that may be a safety issue or not.

edit: resolved, bolts needed tightening
 
Thanks for the help guys , I checked out Questar and it looks good but my thought is a new muzzle shroud for my 34 is a must ?? or can I cut the bottom out of the original one to make room as it would be hidden anyways wouldnt it ??. In the pics it still looks like there would still be a fit issue where the front rail meets the kit . As to me it looks like in the pics that piece is solid and wouldnt extend with the front section. There again my bubba skills can be put to use Im sure :)

I am ordering a kit anyhow (black of course) as the price is right , I just gotta practise my helicopter exits a bit more until my mags come in and I will be .."good to go " :cool:
 
Found out the kit I am getting is not even a kit. This is the $125 package which the airsoft people are not even interested in.. Comes assembled. Will get it this Friday to test if my Glock 17 will fit in it properly. Will be interesting to find out.

Where did you pick-up the "kit"?

Was it from the link posted in the original post?

You will have to prepay to get on the preorder list but he said they should be getting some in stock this week I believe . As far as I am concerned its a good little item/toy and for about aprox $150 shipped a great deal .
Just sent the emt for mine today :)
