I am considering the purchase of one of the above and would like to know if one is better than the other.

I see think there are 4 manufacturer's to choose from:

RCBS
Lyman
Hornady
IDS

I reload for hunting and target shooting in .308 mainly, any model / maker recommended?

Thanks.

Thanks very much for the link, I enjoyed it so much I even did the (FRAUD ALERT) donate at eh end of it. Super evaluation, and I think it almost concludes the search, however, I have heard that the Hornady is very relaible and reasonably fast, and I wonder if anyone has any experience with the IDS model. (Which also happens to be very competitively priced.)

Thanks again, a great link.

Christopher.

I went with the Chargemaster and have zero regrets. From what I've read on here if you ever need warranty, they are the ones to be dealing with.

I went with the ChargeMaster Combo as well and it's never missed a beat. I agree with your take on RCBS warranty. I've found their customer service to be second to none:D.

I've been thinking about the RCBS chargemaster for a while now too Natchez's Shooter supply in the US usually has them the cheapest.
