The new Noveske showed up today, 5 weeks to my door  a new record!

I gotta say the hype is all true, this rifle represents some serious perfection and it's absolutely flawless! I can't believe how immaculate this thing is, it's really a work of art.

Specs

-Switchblock
-VIS Monolithic Upper
-AAC Blackout FH
-14.5" Hammer Forged CL Barrel
-Noveske CH w/Tac Latch
-Troy Battle Sights
-Forged Gen2 Lower

I hope she shoots as good as she looks, here's some shots of her...

... Too bad the switch block is only cosmetic.

I know right, maby one day we'll be allowed to use suppresors... For now it does add to the cool factor.

The neat thing is the SB has 3 settings, S, U, and O for off. You can turn the gas system right off, I'm thinking this may come in handy for letting first timers shoot it, you get the bang with no intimidating bark ie case eject and loud carrier cycle. Another perk with the SB is the gas tube is straight, no bend...

A neat feature none the less...

It's a ###y beast...

Couple of questions,

Price tag?

Was the majority of the build from Questar?

Is that a magpul stock?

For price you're best to ask Scott over at Questar, The complete rifle was imported from Noveske, I added all the goodies after the fact, the stock is a Magpul UBR and optics are Vortex Viper PST 1-4...

Question, not many people mention trigger pull weight on a firearms review. Is it a single stage 4 pound pull? 2 stage 4 pound trigger pull?

Too bad you didn't do a "before and after". I'd love to see the Noveske the way it came and well... you already modified it already and put pictures up! Now we wait patiently for a report. Really important you mention of any misfires and jams (I highly doubt there would be any in a 100 round testing).

I hate to be too demanding but I'd love to see the shell indentation/damage after ejection. Every AR is slightly different, I'd like to see if the round suffers any major dents/nicks/dings after it ejects. Tell us if the shells it ejects is hot or not. My 16" Shrubmaster ejects cool shells or lukewarm while my 10.5" LMT ejects burning hot shells.

It's your standard single stage AR15 trigger, feels nice and crisp too. Once I get her out to the range I'll post up my results along with some of those questions you're looking for.

In the mean time heres some pics of the factory gun...

It is really, really rare for me to think this is worth saying but in this one case...that is f**king sick. Awesome rifle, man.

Thanks man, I appreciate all the kind words from you guys!

Here's a question...

So the gas system on this rig is mid-length, I believe my MRP was mid-length aswell. Can someone tell me about this gas system? It seems like most of the top manufacturers choose mid-length now? I heard that mid-length is alittle less strenuous on the rifle, as apposed to the short carbine length, is there some truth to that? Any arguments in reliability?
