The problem is, i want a non restricted rifle that accept regular ar mags, non restricted, reliable, that i can easily mounth a good optic on, i have 1000 $ to spend, what are my options???

I don't think you will be able to find a non restricted rifle that takes AR mags for under $1000...

edit: I stand corrected, didn't know the SU-16's had an AR mag adapter.

SU-16 and .223 CSA (with AR mag adapter) would both come under the price limit. And as he didn't specify a semi, the Remington 7615P would be a candidate, too.

The Kel Tec SU16 is $799, toss in 4 LAR 10rd mags at $25ea and you're at $900. Leaves $100 for a box or 3 of rounds and taxes. Has a top rail to accept various optics and folds for storage. Seems pretty accurate according to the 500rds I've put through mine and is light weight.

I will warn though......the urge to mod it is hard to resist. I put a pistol grip/AR adapter on mine, a CASV rail on front and a few other goodies. Believe it or not, I'm still only into the gun for just over $1000......before taxes.

I saw the review on the su 16, yes i want it to be semi, i am not sure about reliability of the kel tec.

I really love the benelli mr 1, but it is too expensive for now.
Satain, lone-wolf, Silveragent, myself and a few others have the SU16 and are all impressed. I'm pretty sure Satain and lone-wolf have both put waaaaaay more through their rifles than myself and I've put 500 or so. Here's what you can do with it.
