What is the most self-servicable NR in a 223?

Actually 1600.00 including 2 LAR-15 mags all included, in my book this is pretty affordable for a rifle than can shoot sub half moa and less... Cheers. JP.

I already posted that I'm a big XCR fan but if you have the budget just get a Swiss Arm Green Rifle.
That's what I would/will do, it's only a question of money.

I like the idea of the Benelli, but I think they lost a little in the ergonomics. I am sure that I could learn to live with one at the right price. My vote is for the CSA VZ58 in .223. I am liking mine more all the time.

If you're talking about being able to quickly and simply take a rifle apart and put it back together then I must say that the MR1 is brilliantly simple. I'm more into bolt rifles but have been tinkering with the idea of getting myself a semi so I went into a local gun store and they took out a brand-new-in-box MR1. The owner basically said "I've never put one of these together so do what you can". I was able to assemble it in 5 minutes. The only similar experience I've had was with an AR-15 after watching someone do it.

I too am looking at a non-restricted semi. Swiss Arms looks really really nice but is twice the price of the MR1. What would be great is if someone built an aftermarket fore-grip with built-in rails for the MR1 ... then I would be sold.

That's about 4 minutes slower to disassemble/reassemble than an XCR-L. ;)
No comparison.

Yes, but that's only if you don't use loctite on the XCR-L. ;)

Of your 2,956 posts, I swear 956 of them are the same 'ol "Loctite your XCR" B.S.

K...we get it...Thanks for the heads-up! Get some new material already! ;)
Surely as the sun rises in the east you can count on any XCR thread including your same old used and abused "Loctite" quip and caramels' spiel about how his Benelli MR-1 is the greatest rifle known to mankind.

HAHAHAHA:D
You took the words right out of my mouth, these two are hilarious.

Like we haven't heard blaxsun go on about the loctite a million times.......I've watched my buddies XCR send a solid 2500 rounds down range with no issues.
And seriously an MR1, do I even need to comment on something so freakin ugly as that, and who designed the ergos?

XCR is probably this guys best choice, VZ858 if funds are an issue, maybe a Mini-14

Only if you go back 2 years... And I really can't take credit for all the loctite barbs - that goes to RobArms! ;) But yes, the XCR and MR1 are epic threads at this point. I don't find the MR1 as gruesomely ugly as some, although I do agree that it's lacking in certain respects.
