So, the big stink was abou the length of the cut required for the clamp points on either side of the rail? I don't see any difference between this pic, my rifle and the pics from the first unboxing thread.

Bah. It doesn't matter to me anyway. I just need to get out and shoot mine. I have a crapload of Winchester and some Federal 55gr FMJs.

Has anyone determined that these rifles have a preference for ammo yet?

Likely there isn't a difference.. There were only a few rifles that went out with the long cut. Yes we scrapped 200 handguards because people couldn't handle the looks of 3/4" longer cut on the sides. That put us behind a little bit.

We're working on getting him sooner rather than later. There is a possible delay because of the timing of some export certs for outside orders. But we'll know more shortly and will advise.

We're doing some juggling and working with Ryan on a solution, we may infact be able to get him more than originally stated.

You guys are exporting now? Man, I hope you guys catch on in other markets so that you can expand operations and be the big daddy gun maker in Canada. Is your company selling as much product as you can produce?

.. we actually have more international dealers than local. www.northeasternarms.com/dealers/

We're at capacity and have stopped taking any more new dealer orders until the new year.

I sighted mine in with crappy old 1984 vintage Norinco yellow box .223. After getting the red/green dot sighted in, I put 10 shots in about an inch and a half at 50 yards (no magnification on the StrikeFire). So with some decent ammo, you should be able to get it even better.

I only had to failures to feed properly, and they were in the first 20 rounds. I blame the ammo, rather than the gun.

Overall, very happy with it... :dancingbanana: :ar15:

Looks like another week or two for the DMR. And when the shop says two, they probably mean 3. They're waiting on processing on a few components.

Ryan will be getting our next available batch. This will include 10.5'' guns and even a few of the first 18" DMR's with mid length gas systems. I'm also trying to get him some of the 14.5" barreled guns with 9" quad rails as well.

We're sorry for making Ryan wait.. so we'll try and make it up to him. ;)

Ryan,

Have you received any confirmation that you will be receiving any of the 14.5" guns with the 9" quad rails on your next shipment? I am looking to place an order for my NEA-15 from you this week, but I am trying to decide between the 14.5" with the 12" rail or the 9" rail...

If you have received confirmation, would you have any pictures of this configuration? I have asked NEA, but have heard nothing back yet; (quite understandable as they are busier than a cat covering s**t on a marble floor right now).

Thanks in advance for any reply, and I look forward to doing business with you again very shortly.

Yes he will be.

And so and behold, a new week is ahead of us. What's the good word guys? :D

Hoping to have them out the door wed-fri.

The boss is running in circles trying to get everything out the door.
