So I just spent the last few days battling the winds and chasing mulies.
We near froze our toes off glassing from the hill tops one morning. Word got around to the bucks that we had no tag for them and that they were free to come check us out. I finally came across a doe that was hanging out with a buck with a drop tine. I'm pretty sure it was the guy on the right in the second picture below.
Thankfully there was a bit of snow on the ground as it made it much easier to track her through the bush. She was hit solidly but can easily make it into the thickest cover she could find. Watch the vid in HD at full screen for best results.
