Would you try this??? LOL

Almost looks like my hunt from this spring, tom caught me stalking him in the middle of the feild, I knelt down and the tom started to strut 30 yards away, I thought he was struting for the hens. 10mins later I tried to move but he caught me again, then he ran right at me like in the video, shot him at 5 yards. If it didn't happen to me I would not have belived it.

No word of a lie, did the exact same thing two seasons ago. Had a big gobbler out in the field with about ten hens. I was around the corner of the edge of the field and tried calling him away for 30 minutes. He had no interest whatsoever because he was with the hens.. So finnally I thought faack it and started to belly crawl real slow towards then holding my pretty boy decoy in front of me with my shotgun in the other hand. Belly crawled about 50 yards then all of a sudden he turned and charged at me... I shot him from my belly at about 5 yards.. Lemme tell ya, those sons of biatches look a whole lot bigger when your lying on your belly and they come a runnin' ...
Best turkey hunt i've ever had..

Thats the same way I bowhunt for antelope. Everytime I would get one to charge in I would get over-excited, drop the decoy while he was still 60 yards out, and by the time I'd get my bow pulled back he'd already be 200 yards away.:bangHead: So I made up my mind to let the next goat get real close. 4 years later I finally had one charging in again but this time I waited until the last possible second to drop the decoy. He came in so fast that when he realized the jig was up he turned on a dime and p!ssed all over me!

I still haven't been successful with this method, but its a lot more fun than sitting in a blind.
