SALE: NORINCO .223 Remington (5.56x45mm) Ammunition

Website says it's brass cased, boxer primed and reloadable. I'd be surprised if it wasn't comparable to what we can get now for brass. Plus, IIRC the ammo came in earlier this year, so I doubt anyone's had much experience reloading yet, considering the volume of the cans...

I'm curious if the primer is crimped.

Confident it is good for ONE reload, like the Federal AE black box. Lots of forum threads the AE black box are good for one reloads, then scrap due to loose primer holes.

Is this Norinco good for ONE reload or up to 5?

south ontario folks, I'm in for a split for sure

I'm in Hamilton, PM me

edit - i see you aren't quite as southern as i am :) either way let me know

Unless my math is wrong. That makes it $450 a case?

Before taxes, yes, it is $450/case. The nice thing is though, a case is 1600 rounds of ammo, so to really compare apples to apples (ie what you typically buy it in, a 1000 round case), it works out to $280/1000rnds. Not too shabby, since locally the cheapest I can get the federal is around $380/1000.

Anyone in the Ottawa valley want to split on some ? I would order 1 case so 2 more people and we split the free one (533 rds each).

lucki_87 & diemaco do you guys need a 3rd guy ??
