shut up and spend my money....upper needed

I have a Noveske upper on my KAC lower, they never had a KAC upper in 11.5 that i wanted. OST never got them in, i was waiting on a DD upper, but that never materialized either.

Whatever floats yar boat! It'd be a nice combo.

I gotta question for you and please don't take this the wrong way. What does a KAC lower offer that the miriad of others do not? Considering the disparaging difference in price, I just have to ask.

Ambidextrous controls with top of the heap if not best quality control out in the market, comes with an awesome trigger that sort of resembles the standard AR trigger but brings it to a whole new level. Not like a gieselle trigger(I own one two) but exactly what i would want in a combat trigger, if that makes sense.

Knights just seems to have the spirit of Eugene stoner still in the their AR line, sounds hoaky now that i'm writing this but it's just the feeling i get when handling and firing their rifles.

That being said "a lower is a lower".........

I just believe in supporting a company like that, which is so dedicated to producing Top of the line weapons for decades on end. Plus they shoot more and collect the data than most if not all AR companies out there these days..KevinB has said that and I know from other sources this appears to be true. They don't BS much compared to most other companies, and they don't stretch things that much.

So I'm a loyal KAC customer

So, to sum it up, you get ambi controls and a preceived difference in trigger pull. Other than that, you're paying for the name? I'm making an assumption here that comparable lowers are of equal fit and finish quality. Which given the amount of quality products available today, shouldn't be hard to come by. providing that you're staying away from the bottom of the barrel manufacturers.

I've got (2) Colts and a Bushmaster. The Colts are great, the Bushmaster while serviceable, has some issues in fit & finish. Both my Colts and Busy were bought in the early to mid 1990's.

Years ago, Colt was golden standard for quality AR's. Now, there's a lot of players out there that are equal to if not better than Colt.

Thanks for your opinions.

I find that randomly buying high-end items helps me feel better about myself.
also it goes bang.

check and mate!

Sort of like buying a Corvette to make up for having a small ####? :p

Oh, by the way, before you ask. I drive a Sunfire. ;)
