The differences in the Gen's in Glocks?? "coles notes" version please

Thinking about getting a Glock. Can someone explain the differences in the Generations. Its a Model 22 if that makes any difference

Gen1 - Pinapple Grip.

Gen2 - Checkered Grip.

Gen2.5 - Finger Grooves with NO light Rail.

Gen 3 - Finger Grooves with Light Rail.

Gen 3.5 - Finger Groove with Light Rail and 9mm Guns Updated to 2 pin Design.

Gen 3.5 RTF - same as Gen 3.5 with Rough Texture Grip and Halfmoon cocking Serrations.

Gen 4 - New Grip style with changable backstraps and new recoil Spring Design.

also of note is that the RTF gen 3.5's went thru several variations... so you may see several different types, also of note are the Small Frame Guns like G21SF/G30SF and G20SF/G29SF..
