Reloading .223 for Coyotes

First time reloading .223 and wonder want you guys would recommend for powder and bullets. I have winchester brass and primers.
Looking to hit them hard under 200 yards and don't care about pelt damage.Gun is a 760 pump one in twelve twist ??. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I am pretty sure that the pump, if it is a 760 and not a 7600, it will not be a one in nine twist. If that is the case, then a good 'ole 55 grain soft point will do.
 
I load 50 grain Nosler BT with 25gr of H335. Somewhere around 3200 fps.

They don't even exit on smaller game but they do make a hell of a mess.

I shot a porcupine with one 25 yards away. Never exited, made a entrance hole the size of the porcupine though.
 
at your specified range of 200 yds, I'd go 40 gr BT or Vmax over a load of Benchmark. Works very well in all of my .223's. If your range was longer, say out to 3 or 400 yards, I'd say go with a 50 or 55 gr bullet for better long range ballistics.
 
My Savage .223 likes H335 & Hornady 55gr VMAX bullets. The frangible VMAX bullet is great on varmints, & you don't have to worry about ricochets. Each rifle is different so you probably want to try different bullets to see what your rifle likes best.

my short range coyote load ( 0- 300y) is a crazy fast and devastating combination.....

brass : Win. / Primer: WSR / Powder: Benchmark / bullet: Nosler B-tip 40g

all the yote cure with those pills look like you drop the string or a marionette......
a chest shot looks like a 2" crater...

I shoot them out of a 1/9 twist Cz-527 KV and that fast spin probably have something to do with the eplosive effect..... and they are stabilised and accurate 1moa@300y.

I got them flying at 3850fps without any pressure sign, and I should get a little more with H-322 according to quickload, but not tested yet.
