I think I am one of the first guys on the list but I have a feeling there are quite a few available, $39.99 (I have absolutely no affiliation) but this has got to be one of the nicest tactical bolt knobs I have seen for the Mossberg 930! I'll have a pic or two available once my shotty comes back from the gunsmith (could be a few weeks, sorry).

What makes it 'tactical'?

Ok, I'll play...:D

The stock charging handle is small and sharp: it is fine for everyday use but generally too small for gloved hands and rapid charging handle manipulation.

The new one is oversized & affords the shooter a larger handle and improved grip for more confident, faster loads (no slippage) under stress (where everything seems to get smaller) with gloved hands: a small but important consideration for LEO/Mil. use.

At least, I think that is why I would say it is "tactical." If that doesn't work for you, how about "tacticool?" Either way, it's nice and I'll take it! ;)

So are you going to show us this on your that you own, or is this yet another person selling for Dlask?
I have no problem if it is, just say so....

My 930 is at the gunsmith, probably won't be back for another couple of weeks and as stated, I have no affiliation with DLASK Arms whatsoever. I will retake the photo above to avoid the contact info. if that is what you are concerned with here but I do believe that this post is well within the rules governing such things.

PS Mr. Beeson: I do need a short 4" rail for my Mossberg 930. My gunsmith is installing my LPA rear sight as rear as it can go and I am installing the Remington Trijicon front sight as shown in detail in this thread.

As you can see from the illustrative photo, the LPA sight is the sight that is mounted directly to the receiver so I need a piece of rail that goes forward of that preferably with a channel groove. I will get the measurement of that rail and more photos once I have my shoty back! (Shown here on a Benelli M4).

It took 2 months to get my shotgun back! And it went to two different smiths due to the very poor job of sight installation by the first one. Here is the MOssberg 930 with a DLASK charging handle, Badboybeeson +2 tube and kit (which I have plugged), an orange follower, bayonet adapter, spring, LPA rear sight, Trijicon tritium front sight and a home made sling.

You're right. That front sight is some pretty s**tty gunsmithing.

Imagine waiting 2 months to receive your shotgun, ogling over how perfect it turned out only to have the front sight come off in your hand at the slightest touch. I was amazed. And on a visit to another 'smith, I ended up with a very unclean installation as shown above.

Crappy dude
Get that barrel to casey at tac ord ASAP he will silver solder it on , but you will need to refinish the barrle, that meens parkerize. Or have him cara cote it black.
Casey is the only one I would let do. Work that I can't do

^^^^^^^
I agree 1000%

Casey is the only smith I use.
Everything I get back is way better than what I've seen come out of a factory these days.
He is an artist.

I have the same rear sight on my 590AI, and am in the process of building a 930 which I plan on configuring the same way. I had my gunsmith install a short section of 1913 rail in front of the LPA rear, and he said he was only able to use the 2 existing factory screw holes since the receiver gets very thin in front of those holes. I guess it's thinner to accomodate the barrel that projects back there. In any case, I was only mounting a Burris FastFire so I didn't need much rail, and the 2 screws seem to be holding the rail in place since the FF doesn't weigh much. Will definitely be sending the barrel to Casey for front sight installation.

Where did you get the Trijicon front ? I was thinking I may just use the factory front from a 590AI.
