Hey guys,
Any comments on the 527 varmint 223 in kevlar/laminated as far as accuracy and handling? Considering one, but can't seem to find many reviews.
The Cz 527 has been one of the most consistent actions ever built. As a european firearm it never became super popular, with the exception of those that own them. I have 5 in 22 hornet, 204 ruger, 7.62x39,223. The single set trigger that is in each and everyone of them is a great feature. You will love that rifle every time you go to use it and then you will want to own another in a different caliber. FS
I've never owned or shot a 527V but did have a 527 American in 221 and it was very accurate. 3/4" for 5 shots was not uncommon. Not bad for a light sporter in 3-9x scope
Was out hunting on Sunday and my friend brought his 527 Carbine (7.62x39) and OMG what a nice small/light rifle.
Not sure on the accuracy but he says it shoots like all his other CZs

Laminate or Kevlar stock? Can get laminate now, but kevlar in mid Jan 2012 (ordered). I'm trying to get an assortment/variety of rifles and appearances. Have a T3 in the laminate (really like the laminate), but am thinking I want the kevlar. I have a synthetic stock on a Remy, how much nicer is the kevlar over the laminated? If it's not that much more "WOW" then I might buy the laminated.
Just picked up a cz 527 varmint on monday, first time shooting it found that the bolt seems sticky when chambering a round and even when the gun is unloaded, I'm taking it back to see what the problem is. Also I notice heavier than i'm used to marking on the brass from the mag lips not sure if that is normal
