Nickel finish Norinco 1911..where?

After a helpful thread I decided to go with a Norinco 1911A1.

I've seen some in nickel finish on Google but can't find anything with Norinco resellers.

All the resellers that carry Norinco's show no 1991A1 in nickel finish....in stock/out of stock or even as part of their catalog.

Is this something people have done after purchasing the 1911A1 or is it a hard model to find?

Any suggestions if and where I can find one?
 
Last year Marstar brought in a limited number offer of Norconia Nickel Finished 1911A1's made by Norinco for the German market. Very accurate and good shooting gun but the internal finish of the slide and frame is rough. The slide to frame fit is rough but fairly tight. The exterior finish is excellent.
I believe Norinco also has their own name branded line of nickel finished 1911A1's but I've never seen one.

There has been a couple Norconia nickel finished listed on EE in the past but they sell fast.
 
phone marstar and ask! i wanted the "german version" but thry were sold out, so i bought a pair of their nickel plated hi caps....fn beautiful! and the pair for $9oo!
i thought the finish was brilliant untill a friend told me about Auto-sol , metal polish...WOW!
i then hand polished the blued parts(trigger, hammer,slide release, saftey,and beavertails)
still "tuning" internals
they are ###XXy
