Are the KAC PDW's ruled an AR variant, or not? It's an AR-ish lower, but looks to have no buffer tube allowance. Doesn't look like a standard AR upper would fit...

It shouldn't be a variant or mechanical reasons but the RCMP might call it a variant for being based on the AR15.
