Winchester 1892 Trapper Takedown .357mag Review

Thanks for the comments and yes...later in the day I tried some Speer Lawman .357 JRN.
That fed and shot just fine.
Being that it's all manual feed, I think all round nose should be the best.
I wanted to try the .38spl SWC first because of the nature of SWC and their tendency to snag because of their defined edge. No issues to report so far.

Being that they were a limited run, it's a hit and miss with your lgs.
You might want to try the sponsors up top or go to your lgs and see if they can special order one for you.
I had my lgs ordered it from Winchester in the US.

I looked at a nice Miroku made trapper the other day.

It was in .44 Mag and I think it had the large loop lever and lacked the cut checkering that your model has. Not sure if there are different variations or my memory could very well be faulty.

The price was out of my range but the fit and finish was superb.

I think your memory is in check.

There are several variations of the model 92.

This might be what you handled.
