Cheapest SKS

Everyone I seen at wss yesterday picked one and they called it in right then they were doing like 5+ at a time. Everyone took them home right then

So how come I had to wait and pay more then?:p;) Do we know if they have a decent price on ammo at least. Once I turn my SKS into a Paul Blart Special she'll need some food.

They are charginh (in saskatoon) $6 for 20 rounds on stripper clips or $200 for 800 rounds. Not that good of deal

The 3 digit SKS all get flagged for review automatically, Im not sure if they give the store a transfer notification but if they do then your good to go. I bought one from a local store and had this happen but chose to leave it in their safe over the weekend.

Mine was a 4 digit Tula. The only refurb was the stock, force matched with a birch one from '54. Oh well, I have a nice rifle and $40 won't kill me.

They had quite a few left at WSS in Saskatoon. You guys motivated me so I went and bought Daddy a Christmas present! I know I will love it!

My first Red Rifle, next I'll need a matching commie handgun.

I'm the same. Never had much interest before in red rifles but at the price they had them on for how can you pass it up?

I'm still waiting for the registry to end before buying any more long guns. It's the principle of it all.

Everyone is entitled to follow what ever principles they choose.

I have been accuiring guns since the registry came in and will continue after it is gone. Some of the guns were given to me by people that didn't want the hassle of dealing with the registry.

Hope they don't want them back when its over!

I didn't know about the WSS SKS Sale till now. Going to go get one as my first but quick question (never bought a gun as WSS before).

How good is WSS Sports about letting you look over the rifles checking out barrel condition and serial numbers? I assume they should be pretty good I would not need to take them down and check gas tubes and the like? Should they be good enough as just for general shooting? Thanks.

They will let you do all of that in Saskatoon at least. One guy in Saskatoon was even showing ppl how to take them apart. They are covered in cosmo still so there should be no rusting or other stuff like that. Take it home clean it up and fire away.

On WSS's website one of the reviews for the SKS mentions that the rifle they received was a laminate stock. Does anyone know if they are all laminate?
