treat it the same as any 124 plated, 10% less than jacket & work from there , make sure your seating depth suits your chamber, i know with the aim 147 you have to go a little deeper than normal spec, re: the ogive is farther fwd than a lot of others.
AIM is going out of business as far as I know. Mostly due to poor quality product they produced; also AFAIK.

1) find out longest OAL your gun can handle;
2) go slow with load development, make a few with .2gr step and chrono them, watch primers;
3) you should expect final load to be in 3.6- 4.1gr range.

You will likely end up around 4.2 grains, depending on the oal that you select for your gun Start at 4.0 to be safe and chrono to be sure. Take care to avoid over-crimping.
Aim is not going out of business. They are producing a new run of bullets this week and QC has gone way up recently to re-tooling and a few other important things. So if that is your complaint you should re-examine.
As to "sheedy" all I can say is that I push the 124's out at 1400 fps and shoot groups out to fifty meters as tight as I can shoot with anything else. I have no second thoughts about using them in my race gun for L-III matches. Each person's mileage will vary and not everyone uses correct settings for loading plated bullets.

IMR 4756 and Winchester Autocomp out of my .38 Super race gun. I've actually pushed them to about 1550 in testing with no issues.
I load my 9mm to 4.1 or 4.2 gr of bullseye..
I was there last week and picked up 15,000 projectiles, great price and great bullets....
I had a long conversation with the owner and he said nothing about going out of business...he actually talked allot about better quality control and commitment to the product...
I have always used their .38 cal but have now gone back to the 9mm and 40 also...

Probably confusing years old information on the company AIM bought when they started.
aim may have had quality issues in the past, but for ipsc/odpl , your only hitting a beer case @ 15yds , you could load them sideways & still alfa out. i've used their 147 @ 4 of 231 & never had a prob in either my 1911 type or shadow.
I chrono-ed 11 rounds of AIM 124 gr plated out of my 5"-barreled M&P 9 mm today. I threw 10 charges on my Dillon XL650 immediately before loading them and they came out to 39.5 gr, so each charge was approximately 4.0 gr of Titegroup.
They all chrono'd right around 1040 fps. No problems cycling and nothing unusual on the spent casings.
