Ruger's New 4.2 Inch SP101. Do Want.

Are you sure that law applies to revolvers? I don't think so.

Take Care

Bob

If your reffering to Canadian Law? Then yes, that law does apply as the miniumum barrel length for non 12.6 license holders.

This will be a sweet gun! Can't wait for it to be avaliable. The Canadian Ruger distributer is really sucking the hind tit right now though. We are still waiting for redhawks from 2010 to arrive, so I don't have much hope on these rushing into the country anytime soon

I am pretty sure you are thinking of the GP100.

A while back, from the estate of an old shooting buddy, I made arrangements and acquired his earlier production SP 101, 4" and 22LR.

Eventually, I may try and pick up one of the latest production models in 357 Mag, but in the meantime I picked up a GP 100, 4", as a;) partner to keep the SP 101 company:p.

Cute gun. Who's bringing them in?

Send that ad to the Conservatives and tell them to get with the program and let us take our handguns into the bush without having to jump through a bunch of hoops.

Couldn't tell you but a quick check of the Sturm Ruger website and it appears they are still available in 22LR.

Wow I love the size of that gun... I don't suppose the 5 shot 357mag would be too much bigger. I want it so bad I am thinking about calling an importer.

I 'assume' it is about the same size. Also, I 'believe' there have been some improvements or changes over the earlier production models like the one I have. In addition to the barrel length, I see the latest chambered in 22LR is 8 shot compared to mine which is six. To me, these two changes are secondary when compared to the improvement to the rear sight. Definately a move in the right direction.

I just acquired a 4.2" Redhawk in 45 Colt from a dealer down east and they had both 44 Mag. and 45 Colt as being available on their website....

I'm guessing it was Epps, I was drooling over the .45 for too long. I should have put a deposit down.

John Peterson, you have some nice revolvers. Oh to have 12.6, I got into this game way too late.

Shooters Choice Waterloo and they still list the 4.2 in 44 Mag. and 45.
It landed on my doorstep 4 days after I hung the phone up.... amazing as it usually takes a week to 10 for any parcel mail from Ontario.

Sorry for the hi-jack..
