Forster 3 way trimmer

Or how about the RCBS

I have a Forster trimmer and would have gone with the 3 way from them if I could have located one. Well made trimmer. I got the RCBS 3 way instead. I acquired the cutter head in .30 calibre and in .223 as well. What a huge time saver!! It is easy to adjust the deburring, chamfering settings as well as the overall length. I consider it one of the best investments for the reloading bench. Instead of having to do 3 separate operations I can do them all in one pass. I can't say enough about this trimmer. Get one and you'll never look back.

I have always been impressed with the quality of Forster tools. I would imagine that their product would work just as well or better. Just haven't personally used their 3 way. :)

I too have both the .223 and the 30 cal cutters.. and they work great.. I had to adjust them myself as they were both out of spec from the factory. But a real time saver..

As far as I can tell the only thing that would be better than the 3 way trimmers (I have an RCBS...) is a Giraud trimmer. What would make the decision for me is volume... if you're loading thousands of rounds that require trimming the Giraud is probably the way to go, maybe Dillon if you're running a progressive.

Thanx guys. I got the trimmer and collet but I can't find the 3-way cutter. Does anyone know where I might find one?

Uhhh, which one did you get? Sounds like the Forster. I ordered the 3 way RCBS trimmer from WSS and also ordered the extra 3 way in .223 from them. Most places that carry RCBS have them in stock. I don't know about the 3 way Forster, I couldn't find one anywhere. That is why I got the RCBS.

I use the Forster and don't know what 3 way trimmer is. A Forster has only one trimmer and uses pilot for the correct neck diameter.

Trims and deburs the interior and exterior the the case neck simultaneously.
An expensive but huge time saver!

I'm still using my RCBS Case Trimmer-2 but Forster 3 way trimmer is my next buy as I'm fed up with case trimming on it!
