Pink checker plate on Weatherby shotgun

One of our recent projects that I wanted to share with you, this is our checker plate pattern over a pink base coat with a gloss finish. Tell us what you think of it.

Although I will never buy a pink gun, That looks pretty cool, great idea! I assume it is some sort of vinyl wrap. One can only guess that its fairly slippery though, based on the gloss in the photos.

It is not a vinyl wrap. The stock was decorated using our water transfer printing process, this is the same process used by commercial firearm manufacturers to apply camouflage and other decorative looks to firearm and firearm accessories. We also have a variety of top coat finishes from Gloss to matte including our Cobra Grip which is a matte anti-slip coating that gives the stock a nice velvet feel, it also provides that extra grip in cold and wet conditions. Water transfer is cool, and opens up all kinds of possibilities. My only "complaint" with this particular application would be that the visual light angle on the two pieces are different.
