I just purchased this Winchester model 52 reissue,After removing the stupid lawyer pin and getting the trigger set at 1.5 lbs, i am happy with the ten shot group under half inch at fifty feet with win 555 bulk ammo,I need a warm day to get to the outdoor range to see how it performs at fifty yards and beyond.

I have a similar M52, and it is a keeper.
With ammo it likes, it is a <.300" rifle at 50 meters.
Great sporter performance, and a repeater at that.
Eagleye.

50 feet? with a scope like that you should be one holing it. Try to shoot at least 50 yards as the barrel blast at 50 feet could make a hole...lol. My 1940 Marlin 87 with the same scope shoots small loonies at 100 yards with the 555s.

Well thanks for your encouraging remarks,I do hope to do better in the future and i will strive to reach your excellence,I spend my time on this forum and several others trying to learn tips and tricks from shooters such as Eagleye who fully document their experience as shown in other threads.

Nice, you may wish to try some SK Standard Plus or other match ammo, not necessarily the exoensive stuf. And if you wish to sell..

Bazinga! :D

That's a beautiful rifle you have there and a target to be proud of. I think a model 52 sporter might end up in my safe one day. :)
