Building AR upper need advise PLS

Hey guys I want to build my own upper, here is some back ground

I bought a Rock River Car elite A4 from Questar a couple of years back, I have the standard A2 front sight and have been using it to shoot iron sights 3 gun matches but now I want to upgrade. At this time I don’t want to buy a whole new AR. I just want the option to switch between Iron sights with front A2 sight. And open with a new uppers (so simply pop the 2 pins swap the upper and be done)

Here is want I am looking for
20” stainless steel barrel
YHM Spector customized handguard or Troy
YHM lower gas boc

The question is the upper receiver? I was thinking DPMS or Rock River

Looking for some Advise and opinions also where I could buy any of the above stuff in Canada?

Honestly - sell the old upper and get a new upper with a quad rail. Throw some flip-up BUIS and then you can run either at the same time without having to swap anything out.

Questar would be the first place to start for RRA. Also check out the EE; there are typically used/low-round uppers available for a good price. Speaking only for myself, I found that the ideal setup was just two different ARs: both with quad rails and flip-down BUIS - but different barrel lengths and stocks. I run a Magpul CTR with LaRue riser on my 7" Socom/Dlask PDW and a Magpul UBR on my 10.4" HK. For anything longer that's were a non-restricted comes in.
