HAMILTON / S. ONT - Coyote/Hunting Newbie.

Why not do what everyone did when they started? Go out and look for permission and give it a try.

No reason why you couldn't do it alone first time. You watch enough videos, read enough forums you will know the basics.

I never had anyone take me out, I researched for about 2 weeks prior, bought a .223 and a hand call. Went out AT LEAST 50 times before I even seen a coyote. Was getting super frustrated, ready to call it quits when I called in a double one morning and I shot the lead one and unloaded on the second one but missed. My heart never beat the same after that LOL, I was hooked.

I am new to it this year, went out tons this summer looking for possible properties and have got two lined up. I may be able to take you out with us once or twice if schedules line up, I will send you a PM.

bump, nothing has panned out so far.

Try wainfleet blog. Google npca and check this spot out. There are alot of yotes there and it is crown land. Cost is like 25 bucks for the year. Just bait them with dog food. Wait until we get some snow and hang the dog food in some trees.
