question about Mossberg tac 22 availability

I have one on order from Cabela's since Nov 10. They can't tell me when they will arrive either. Seems strange they put an order in for 400 of them and the supplier can't even give them an indication as to when they will arrive. Apparently there has been overwhelming interest in these.
Someone suggested the American market will get their orders first and we will get ours once that's finished.
There has also been talk on here that other stores in Canada say they are getting them but so far nothing has surfaced.
There has also been some confusion in posts with people claiming they bought one only to find out they bought the carry handle model.
First store to get them will be sold out in within 5 minutes of them arriving from the amount of interest being shown on this site alone.
If you come across any throw up a post. Everyone here would appreciate it.

Are you sure you're talking about the same thing? the OP is talking about the new flat top version, not the one with the carry handle..
The flat tops haven't been out for very long, I was under the impression they haven't made it into canada yet? They're not even on the mossberg website...

I can't understand why Mossberg can't get these out to stores, especially with places like cabelas placing huge orders. you'd think they'd be pushing production cause they know they will sell. Maybe they had a problem in manufacturing or something like that? What other reason could there be?
From what I know, there are no flat top versions in canada yet! If I'm wrong, please post a pic of your gun for us. I have not found a youtube vid of the flat top yet either.

The main reaon why I want the flat top is due to the site bore difference. It's over 4 inches with a good red dot. It's such a problem that I can't place my face on the stock when looking through the red dot. With a smaller scope, say my bushnell 3x9 it's still bad but workable. I would wait till the flat top comes out. You'll be able to pick up a carry handle vesion for pennies!
