Maybe I missed that point in the details but do you think, with the introduction of classic division, that the single stack 1911 should be allowed back the 10-rounders in standard division (fitting the box without mag, like it used to be)?

I fail to see now that single stack shooters can play togheter, how it would disadvantage the double stack shooters

or maybe my logic is twisted...

SO let me get this right, you are asking for a rule to allow single stacks to play in standard when single stack just got their own division?

tought about it when rereading the other classic division thread, guy had a ported slide on his single stack, so that immediately ruled him out of classic, but if he wants to play standard he has to go with 8-rounders

Too bad...

You want to shoot in a specific Division...you have to meet the criteria

This box rule debate ended two years ago...move on

I don't think 10 rds single stack will be back in Canada, exception time for us run away.
On the other side I don't see a problem with 10 rounds magazine in Canada only for Standard division, there is not advantage whatsoever, however we need to follow rules.
I hope one day in Canada one day we will be able to shoot more then 10 rounds for IPSC competition.

Personally I am still shaking my head.
Classic IS .45ACP in a 1911. Period.
Allowing other calibers just alienates the very people you were trying to reattract to the sport.
This will become another arms race by guys who currently shoot another division already.
They should have made an equal playing field.
My 2 cents- YMMV
