Looking for recommendations on gunsmiths to do a Rebarrel Job for me.

I have a stainless M700 300 Ultra mag that I want to rebarrel and chamber in 338 Edge or 338 RUM. I want it to be a hunting weight rifle probably close to the weight of a Sendero SF or similar.

I want someone with lots of experiance and can give me the best accuracy, I'm striving for consistant and reliable 1/2 MOA or better.

Thanks

Your in B.C. look up Dennis Sorenson AKA Guntech, he has been building rifles for a long time and does realllly great work and very fast turn around time, I've used him a couple times now (I'm in Ontario btw, to let you know how happy I am with his work).
You cannot go wrong using Dennis in my opinion.

I believe that range sports just subs out their work to Mick. I had him rebarrel a rifle for me this past summer. Excellent job but he was adamant that he wont build hunting rifles.

I was more than happy with his work and the turn around time.

I sent him a PM, pricing seems to be on the higher end but he's also gonna guarantee 1/2 moa so its something I gotta think about.

I have a Nesika in 338 Lapua Imp. that Rick built and it is wicked accurate.
Excellent workmanship and his customer support is awesome.
Mine is not your average hunting rifle at 20 lbs., but I use it for hunting coyotes and it reaches out farther than anything else I have. :D
