The second trooper from the left has a Luftwaffe marked helmet so I would agree that most, if not all, are Luftwaffe ground troops and/or Fallschrimjagers.

Also, every one of them except for the G43 Sniper on the far right, are wearing the FJ Splinter Jumpsmock. Big guy on the right has what looks like a standard LW Splinter Field Jacket. Best bet they are all FJ... Then again, it's not like they are actually jumping out of any planes at this stage of the war!

I wonder if their casualties would have been much different than they were in Kreta (Crete)...
