Hank Parker Illegaly shoots a Coyote?

It's not me making regulations. In your province can you shoot on land with out permission?
I think it boils down to proper management of all game. Some hunters aren't all honest, and while hunting coyotes with 300 win mag, might just pop a moose,deer,elk..etc. It is way easier to keep track of hunters if you know who is guiding for them.
I see a lot more " Bed and Breakfasts" opening up near good hunting grounds. This is just another way around guiding in the farmland. The influx of wealthy Albertans buying land on the forest fringe is also growing. The houses just happen to have 6 or 7 bedrooms, and their buddies come hunting.
Who knows maybe they give these people a little money for their stay? I was told not long ago that we don't know how to manage our wildlife in this province. But having people that do this is helping?

So your calling me a poacher before I even start to hunt.

I hate to tell you chum, but your attitude runs right along with the regulations your Provence has for Varmits. Calling hunters poachers (Just because Maybe) is Bull #### simple.

We don't seem to have that problem in Ontario and we hunt the same woods as any other animal...

We don't have turkeys, but with a 28 goose a day limit few are going to leave Saskatchewan to hunt waterfowl.

I am a upland man myself... but you have never been on a good duck hunt before have you?.... given the choice of only one I would take the grouse hands down over ducks.... but if we go interprovincial we can all have both.....

We have plenty of ducks, I like to hunt them with the kids but get sick of eating them in hurry. No shortage of sharptail, ruffed, spruce grouse and Hungarian partridge. Pheasants toward the south but I don't do much of that.

No doubt... but you would have to experience an open water waterfowl hunt to understand.... there is something very special about watching a large black duck zoom down a St. lawrence channel and being at the ready waiting ....to see if it veers off before your setup....

I would gladly have one of my CGN friends from Sask here for a hunt ... and would gladly go to that guys spot for a different type of hunt (starting to think grouse is a good idea).... just don't want to have provincial arguments is all....

Grow up and you wouldn't run your mouth if we were sitting across from each other. I am not calling you anything, so why are their metal detectors in stores are you a thief before you walk in? why speed limits are you a speeding freak that is going to kill someone? like the list goes on. Why tag an animal are you poacher before the tag goes on?..like use your head.

Got a soft spot for coyotes?

Not in the least. As Dogleg alluded to earlier, the closure of the coyote hunting season had nothing to do with managing the coyote harvest rather the new regulations were intended to better manage NR hunters in the southern zones.

Well enough said as Threats don't seem to be part of a debate unless you got a problem and from what I see replied here there is a problem. I can't comment back on this sort of thing but I can say that I visit the west at huntfest at most times ;)
