M-16 22lr. WHo makes??

Which M16? Vietnam era or Modern day M16A4, you can build whatever semi auto variant you please with an AR15 lower and a .22lr upper.

The Armi Jager AP-74 has its charms and they are half the price of a 22LR upper.

...I believe they are restricted and I recall them to be something of a Jammomatic.

One option is the Mossberg Tactical. There's a new flattop model coming out and they are non restricted. About $320 or so. Made o' plastic but apparently lots of fun to shoot...

I thought mine was a piece of junk. They are way over priced on here to.

Winchester-1897. I really am surprised to hear this:confused: I have put quite literally every make and model of .22LR through it.....Thousands upon thousands of rounds perhaps 10's of thousands. To be truthful I just thought about it and 10,000 rds is only 20 bulk packs....easily 10's of thousands of rounds through it. I ran into an issue just this summer with it some FTF's and stovepipes. I took it home and realized that I've never cleaned it aside from some patches down the barrel.
Downloaded how to take it apart (cause I had no idea ) cleaned it out bolt/pin thingy everything. Put it back together and it runs like a top ready for 40 more bulk packs NP.
Now a precision sniper it is not (and even with all that shooting I'm not a great shot) but I can group with it reasonably at 100m and well 50m is just fun.
1 down side...mags are $$$ and hard come by wish I had more:(

PUMA....'cause toy's are fun :D

Why? very simple really, because I asked for a 22lr rifle M16 NOT a real automatic .223 that I cannot get!!!

You missed the point of my post, my post was directed at the garbage look alike copies of the M16 in .22, I already posted an actual AR15 (mine) in .22.

You are not getting around the fact the AR15 is restricted, unless you get something that is NOTHING like an M16/AR15.

Hey man I just asked a simple question.Which I kinda think YOU missed the point of.So please, back on subject.I didn't ask about an AR15.

the CMMG dedicated upper is fantastic and you get the bonus of using bdm mags. But otherwise you are better off looking at a sr22 or 597 vtr
