Hello guys, i have been looking alot into a scope in the $300 range, I would like it to have mil dots power up to 20x and clear glass at 20x, if you have any recommendations i would like to hear them.

Thank you

There is one in a Banner I think he is advertising.
About half your budget and plenty good for a rimfire.

At higher magnification they are not clear at all though.

I have had one and it was not terrible for the money but don't know if it would meet the OP's standards of clarity.

They make 2 and I would go with the one that maxes at 18 as the 24 is useless beyond that anyways, as clarity turns to crap.

Bushnell 3200 5-15x40 tactical has good clarity at 15x and mildots. There might be a cheaper one without the tactical turrets. It usually goes for around $375.00 with the mildots and turrets. There's a lot of sales on right now for 3200 series as they are discontinuing them.

You can get a Vortex Crossfire in the magnification you want 6-24x50 mildot with sunshade, 30mm main tube, target turrets under caps, adjustable objective. Should come in around $225 or so for a new one, which equals money for rings and ammo to play with.

I missed this post.
Boy, I would sure like to see this target............

I did an "oh boy, here's a new guys thats going to get ripped apart by the wolves on cgn"

then i did a little searching. wow. yup he actually does that.

clayne - a quick look at optics planet shows a few sub $300 scopes that go up to 18x
the simmons predator quest goes 24x

can't comment on the glass, but maybe look at it?

Guys, you might want to check see where the poster is from. I see he's landed the scope. His $300 in the U.S. equates to $600 in Canada.

Clayne, you should tighten up those groups a bunch now. Can't wait to see the targets. Try and get some eley for that scout.
