CZ 858 22lr conversions

Nothing wrong with being clear, concise and to the point Bfiles. Your post was pretty vague and the first thing that popped into my small head was a conversion for the .223 models for some strange reason......maybe you can't follow that logic?

How was his first post vague???

Hey North Sylva,

Any ideas on when the 22lr conversion for the 858 will be available??

ETA, $$ point, etc....

Thanks

Whats vague about that?? Doesn't get any clearer in my books...

I cant follow that logic about just the .223 rifle when they are new to the market and only a handful of them are out compared to the 762 version which have been around for how long now, not just for us canadians but worldwide.

OK.
Maybe you were already aware of this conversion kit? I've never heard of it.
Let's move past the blasting of all the idiots who thought it was a .223/.22lr conversion and discuss how this conversion works?

Imagine this.
I just heard about a conversion today.
I heard about a .223 model before that.

Ok, you just heard about the conversion today but they were posted in the North Sylva CSA thread. Page 1 post 1 in all the blabber about the New Skorps, then new .223 rifles and .22lr conversions for csa rifles. That was a year ago. Reasons why i even remember is that I love combloc style rifles and recall reading this, double checked the thread and then posted this one.

All I want to know is what North Sylva has to say on them, thats it.

OH is that what I meant. Guess king cadgo has the last say, or did you not read my first statement right????

Take it easy douche bag. How would a conversion work for anything but a .223? A barrel liner?

:DLOL oh my god, maybe you should be manufacturing rifles, making big bucks and take charge in the CSA factory cuz you know everything. (bbbbppffff fart noise)!!!

Nobody knows, that is why I am asking NS whats going on with them queer

Nevermind the conversion... this thread is epic on its own. Swordfight between cadgo, bfiles and can-down! There can be only one! :D

Haha, I am not really sure why he took offense to begin with. Seems to me there was a discussion in another thread and it was mentioned that the kits were only for the .223 model.

and bfiles: It would HAVE to include some sort of barrel liner, you don't need to be an expert to know that, just not be a moron :slap:

Haha, merry Christmas guys. Might be a little grumpy after smashing my knuckles up under the hood of a sled.

Just a different bolt and magazine, think AR-15

the bolt carrier in a AK is not even close to the DI run BCG like in an AR-15, you would have to strip the whole action, change it out, change the barrel (shooting down a .30cal barrel w .22 is NOT the same as .22 down a .223{which are both same "caliber width"}) and then you would magically have to get the AK piston to run on a .22lr... cause wheres the "blow back" come from if the gass stops at teh ak piston?

do you just want a .22, cause there are AK looking .22's,or something that goes back and forth? because to go back and forth from .30cal to .22 yeah u do need to change barrels and stuff in addition to the action
