As the title says... I am hoping to get into coyote hunting this coming year and am wondering what people do with them. Finding a place to drop off the pelts to won't be difficult, but is there any use for the rest of the varmint?

i just skin them, sell the pelt and use the rest as bait.
remember that if your pelt is full of holes, it's virtually worthless to anybody, one or two isn't so bad but if your not experienced at skinning, you might as well just give the whole yotes to a trapper and let them worry about the BS.

I've yet to see other coyotes eat their own kind. I hear people say this on here, but foothills and northern Coyotes seem to refuse to eat other Coyotes. This is different elsewhere? A skinned Coyote is pretty much only good as Raven bait here.
not trying to bring back up the wolf/coyote hybrid theory again but here in southern ON they do all sorts of funny things. a good percentage of our coyotes are brush wolves, so having wolf genes they probably aren't afraid to eat another coyote. Not sure if this is actually why but they do eat their own kind here. especially mixed in with fresh sheep and goat guts
They seem to eat everything but the head for some strange reason here.But they will 100% eat the rest

Where's all the blood around that carcass? Coyotes make a hell of a mess.
