CZ shooters must have been pissed!!! lol.

I'll be using my Beretta PX4. Why? Because I like it, and I would only be shooting for fun, as I will never win.

When was the last time a guy with a revolver won anything in IPSC???
I noticed on the "List" that some of them are allowed.

I'd wager that Jerry Miculek could use a stock S&W Model 627 (8 Shot - w/moon clips) and 'spank' any Canadian PD shooter using a Shadow.

To the OP, whatever gun you shoot well, would be the gun of choice if it were me making the decision. I have seen guys shoot Beretta's, Sig's, Taurus', Glocks, Smiths, etc... really well and if they were/are good shooters these guns didn't hold them back. Different strokes for different folks you could say. Way back when I started IPSC in 1989, if you didn't shoot a 1911 you stood out in the crowd. In 1990 dad and I were bitten by the CZ bug and I never looked back. For me personally nothing fit me better, and I couldn't shoot anything better than a CZ. So for the last 21 years I have stuck with the CZ and CZ clones right up until now as that is what works best for me. Don't feel that your gear is handicapping you, only if it is hindering your shooting. If it is what you like and it works, run with it. Sorry for being so long winded lol A friend of mine used to have an Elite II, and I really liked it. Might add one to my collection if I ever cross paths with one!

I used a 92FS for my blackbadge course back in the day and used it for a while to compete in the small matches. The I got an HK P7M13 and loved it more....sad, I sold that HK...big mistake. Right now I would use a Glock 17 or 22.

Boltgun

Well I decided I would take a chance on a Glock 17 at EPPS for just 525.00. It was inexpensive but I have used glocks before and it looks like it will work in the minor division. Also 9mm is cheaper to reload than 45. and definitely cheap for store bought ammo.

Plus I have a progressive press setup of 9mm.

Guess I need a couple of glock 17 10 round mags. Anyone with spares, please PM me with prices.

Thanks to everyone for their input. It has been hard to separate fact from fiction on this.

Don't buy aftermarket, or someone else's cast-off

Buy new, OEM, Glock magazines. Whether from Police Ordnance, Questar, Sporteque, Brownells, or whomever else, only buy new, OEM, Glock ones.

I have a 90two FS in 9mm. It is very comfortable for me and shoots well. I get rassed about it at the club for being a purse gun. But I love it. Another fella has the shadow and he really likes that as well.
