I'm getting ready for my first batch of .223 ammo and was wondering if i need to run all my brass through a resizing die first. I have all new winchester brass.

kamlooky;Lots of yes and no answers here.
If poking paper, neck size is a good idea.
Shooting fur?
Best to have them as close to 100 per cent as possible.
And don't forget to chamber all your reloaded rounds to
be sure they will do exactly that before you wander out into
the bush.
My buddy lost one of the biggest bucks he has ever seen as the one
round he grabbed and couldn't close the bolt on.![]()
He trusted the reloads he got with his new to him rifle.
Talk about a big face plant................jeeeeeeesh.
