Looking for a Black badge course in ontario

Hmmm I have never known of a BB course not posted on the IPSC site. So I am curious as to who these lazy individuals are.

Now as to organizing a course. CGN is by far the BEST place to do so as people who are interested tend to congrigate here.

Once a course is booked then it appears on the IPSC ontaro schedule for the simple reason.........the schedule is only for BOOKED courses!

How I supposed to know who they are if course wasn't posted?

Well, I don't think it is the best place. The candidates should be contacting the course coordinator using email posted on the IPSC Ontario web site, so he could coordinate with instructors when and where to book the courses.

BTW, to my knowledge, in 2011 out of 20 courses in Ontario, only 10 been fully booked.

So let me get this straight......you pull a swipe against the BB instructors with ZERO evidence? Is that what you are saying?

As you posted above...you are no expert. I think that just about covers it.

CGN is the LARGEST Canadian Gun forum.........ergo is has exposure to the greatest number of people who are interested in firearms. Ergo it has the greatest exposure for those who are initially interested in IPSC or other action shooting.

By all means they should end up at the IPSC site at some point. But they START here.

Didn't you said you like logic? Allow me to break it down for you.
The BB instructors who posted info about their courses are certainly not lazy and no reason for them to be offended by any "swipes".
The ones who didn't post the info, are certainly somewhat lazy, well they can be offended, but then they shouldn't be lazy.

You are forgetting that this is not an official IPSC resource and not all BB instructors read it and that not all prospective IPSC members read this forum either. Not to mention the IPSC Ontario BoD policy not comment here on any official business.
 
Euxx, are you the guy that the ONT. IPSC BoD put incharge to keep us crazy members in line on this web site.
Please let us know. You Know you are starting to sound like a guy that runs the official World IPSC site.
Do yourself a favour, find another mentor!
 
Also looking for a course in Ontario (as close to TO as I can get)

Johnespos, I would like to clarify something for you. We have active BoD members that participate on CGN and the other forum. They are the official voice of IPSC Ontario. Euxx is not on the BoD for IPSC Ontario, he is a key part of the webmaster team of which I am a member of as well. To the best of my knowledge the webmaster team has no mandate to police members in any way on here or on the other forum (except to meet the guidelines of the other forum).

True, and further how would any BOD members be able to police members either? Most of us here use alias' and it may not be known who they really are. This is a non-official IPSC site in every way, whether it is Ontario, Canada or World. Not much any of them could really do unless something that is done was illegal and it they could prove who did it.

Police? Illegal? Guys, give it a break. People been saying their own personal opinions on the matter here. Some don't like other's opinion or disagree, but it still just a personal opinion. Nothing more.

Guys looking for the black badge courses in Ontario, it will really help to contact BB coordinator, so he can gather interested students together and coordinate with instructors. You can also keep checking the web site once in a while. There is usually no secret BB courses and sooner or later new courses will be posted there, so you'll see them.
 
Ok here is my two penny's worth
First of all guys who are looking for a Black badge course GTA area, I have one in Hamilton Feb 4th, 5th. PM me if you want info.
It will be up on the IPSC website soon?
Second Euxx all of us who are instructors do let the main man know when we have a course set up and the dates, but there is a delay in getting posted on the website, now if you can rectorfie this and speed the presses up grate.
Third thing guys is the really the place to air out dirty laundry, I think NOT how about You PM each other or do it on the IPSC formum where all our members or board members can state the real facts.

If there is a delay in posting it to the web site, perhaps you should bring it up to the web board. Though if guys been able to wait for a month, another day won't make any difference now.

PS: for the record, there was no requests to post on webmaster list. I suppose BB coordinator taken care of it himself, since he can post it now. As far I can see, it is in the system already and it should get on the calendar in a few hours...
